• Senior Web Developer

  Senior Web Developer

  We are looking for a few experienced, motivated and passionate Senior Web Developers to join our team. You must be dedicated, detail-oriented, fun, professional and able to communicate and collaborate as part of a team oftalented people. In addition, you must be able to, and enjoy engaging with and collaborating with clientstakeholders. 

  You will be responsible for developing and supporting complex websites, web applications, mobile apps andsocial media applications. Projects range from highly functional content-management based sites toE-Commerce, portals, iPhone/Smartphone applications, Facebook applications, Flash and interactive, and othercustom web-applications.

  Minimum Required Skills:

  • Must have 5+ years demonstrable .NET development experience (ASP.NET with C# strongly preferred,.NET 3.5 required)
  • Must have 5+ years object-oriented development/consulting experience
  • Experience in ASP.NET/C#, ADO.NET, XML/XSL, DHTML and Microsoft SQL Servers
  • JavaScript
  • CSS, HTML
  • n-tier architectures
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Development Tools (Visual Studio 2005/2008) & version control platforms
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision

  Skills Not Required But A Plus:

  • Experience with the following technologies a strong plus: SharePoint 2010, Sitefinity CMS, Sitecore CMS, MOSS 2007, andWindows SharePoint Services (WSS 3.0)
  • LINQ, WPE, WPF, WCF, WWF
  • JQuery
  • Silverlight
  • Flash, ActionScript, Flex, Air
  • Mobile Web Development & Smartphone Development (iPhone, Android, Pre, etc)
  • Experience in Web Services is a plus
  • Microsoft Certified Professional, MCTS: .NET 2.0 Web Based Client Dev, MCPD: Web Application Track
  • Development experience with Ruby-on-Rails and/or PHP a plus

• Front-End Web Developer

  Front-End Web Developer

  We are looking for an energetic, proactive and passionate Front-End Web Developer to join our team.  You must be dedicated, detail-oriented, fun, professional and able to communicate and collaborate as part of a team of talented people. In addition, you must be able to and enjoy engaging with and collaborating with client stakeholders.

  You will beresponsible for applying modern web standards to implement fast, maintainable, cross-browser websites and web applications. Projects range from database-driven, content-management based sites to E-Commerce, portals, intranets, Flash and interactive, and custom web-applications.

  Responsibilities

  • Work with Creative Services team to brainstorm and concept compelling, user-friendly interfaces
  • Prototype UI wireframes and interfaces and thoroughly document associated requirements
  • Create  launch-ready, valid, hand-coded web layouts from wireframes, prototypes and PSDs
  • Implementinteractive JavaScript components with current frameworks
  • Develop and test for cross-browser compatibility and mobile delivery
  • Define and drive best practices and web standards
  • Participate in regular peer code reviews

   Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct industry experience
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or other related, advanced degree
  • Mastery of all or most of the following: XHTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
  • Expertise with the following are big plus:  Flash,ActionScript 3, After Effects, Flex, Air, DHTML, XML
  • Strong knowledge of web standards, CSS-based (table-less) design, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Strong knowledge of design and development best practices for SEO
  • Understanding of C# (ASP.NET) is a plus and C# (ASP.NET) development experience a strong plus
  • Familiarity with UI component suites (ideally Telerik, Infragistics or other)
  • Write clean, high-quality, standards-compliant, and reusable code
  • Desire to learn new technologies and potentially work outside of your comfort zone
  • Attitude of personal accountability for results and achieving individual and company goals
  • Understanding and consistent application of usability standards and best practices
  • Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team

  Senior Web / Interactive Designer

  Habanero is looking for a Senior Web/Interactive Designer to join our award-winning Creative Services team.  This role is about creating compelling, influential digital experiences.

  Responsibilities

  • Design innovative, industry-leading visual design for Websites, Web-applications, interactive pieces,
    E-Commerce and other digital marketing 
  • Brainstorm, concept and collaborate with creative team on brand communication and marketing campaigns
  • Create designs that are on-brand and exceed the goals of our clients
  • Incorporate best practices in design and technology to provide cohesive support of overall creative strategies
  • Work as part of pitch teams on prospective new business efforts
  • Estimate project effort, timelines and costs
  • Take personal accountability for on-time, on-budget deliverables and expertly crafted, client style and standards-compliant design

  Requirements

  • 5+ years strong Web and Interactive design experience
  • BA or other related, advanced degree
  • Experience with current and evolving design trends, rich internet applications and delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the following software: Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, Stylesheets, Dreamweaver, Fireworks (or other HTML editor) and Microsoft Office product suite
  • Strong JavaScript, Flash and ActionScript skills
  • Active in Social Media; understand how social media integrates into overall web strategies
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices as they relate to web design and HTML/CSS production
  • Strong knowledge of cross-platform browser compatibility restrictions and requirements and WC3 standards
  • Understanding of Content Management Systems, E-Commerce and other Web-Application technology. You don’t have to be a developer, but experience with or understanding of these systems is necessary.
  • In-depth understanding of usability best practices and web analytics
  • Proven track record delivering high-quality, on-time and on-budget work that meets project requirements
  • Attitude of personal accountability for results and achievement of individual and company goals
  • Ability to successfully execute on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Collaborative approach that brings good resolution to tough design questions and issues

  • Adobe Air, Flex and After Effects experience
