Portal and Multiple Sub-Site Application in SharePoint 2007

Habanero completed a usability analysis, design and development of a very large-scale, complex Web-application in the Carbon Credit tracking and monetization industry. Habanero was responsible for usability, user interface concepting, design, development, project management, implementations of this 6 month long project. The application is built upon the Microsoft SharePoint 2007 (MOSS 2007) platform. It entails an over-arching portal and super-admin functionality that enables ClimateSuite to setup and administer an unlimited number of sub-portals for clients.

Each portal will have it’s own styling (managed by CSS) and will be accessible only to that specific portals users but the layout, flow and functionality of each portal will be the same. The flexible platform will enable ease-of-use for end users and easy management by both ClimateSuite super-admins as well as client portal admins. The application is built with the following technologies: SharePoint 2007, Microsoft ASP.NET (C#), SQL Server 2005 database, .Net Framework 3.5, CSS / Stylesheets, AJAX and XML / XSL.
